Coming Out Party: Time to Werk!

Join Build Out Alliance on Thursday, October 13, for our annual Coming Out Party! Hosted at the Stonewall Inn, celebrate the day with familiar faces at the place where it all began. Share your own coming out story with friends over a cocktail, hear from colleagues about how they’ve catapulted forward more empowered, and learn how you can get involved with Build Out Alliance, the LGBTQ+ community, and beyond.

Taking place on the second floor of Stonewall Inn, our exclusive space for the evening will include a cash bar, raffle items, and small bites.

Those of you who joined us last year know this is an event you won’t want to miss. And those who may have missed the event, be sure to get your ticket while you can because this year is sure to be better than the last!

Live Performance by Lady Bay

It wouldn’t be a party without a special performance by Lady Bay herself! You can’t see her perform anywhere but a Build Out Alliance party so you won’t want to miss her curtail call!

Raffle Items

Just like 2021, we have several items up for raffle. We’re still collecting more exciting items to raffle off to everyone who joins.

This year’s grand prize:
2-Night Getaway at Select Locations through Getaway valued at $1,000!

Raffle tickets will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. You can purchase these tickets ahead of time, or on the day of the event with cash only.

Why “Time to Werk?”

National Coming Out Day is a celebration for the LGBTQ+ community. It is a day to remember the many people who stood up for the rights we cherish today. But now, more than ever, it is important we find that same strength and conviction to again unite as we face turbulent times.

Money collected from ticket sales and raffle tickets go directly to Build Out Alliance. These funds are used to help minimize costs for events throughout the year and, in many cases, keep them free altogether. Funds help pay for event space, special guests and speakers, performers, food and drink at events, and general expenses to run Build Out Alliance like paying for our website, email newsletters, and other costs of doing business. In some cases, funds are used to supplement costs for full events, like architectural tours or tickets to venues so that our community can enjoy more affordable prices.
