Speakers

Mike Goetz (he/him) is a designer who focuses on how space shapes culture, connection, and belonging. Through his role on the CoreNet Southern California Board, he pushes conversations about the future of work and how inclusive design principles move beyond theory into practice. His advocacy with wayOUT brings an added lens of equity from the LGBTQ+ community. Mike approaches inclusive design with clarity and candor — breaking down why it matters, how it works, and how small decisions in design can have a big human impact.

Brittany Moffett (she/her) is more than just a Senior Resilience Engineer with Arup - she’s always considering how to move design forward with a lens on inclusivity. She combines her work in resiliency and inclusive design to focus on topical questions for the end user: Who is protected by the built environment? Under what conditions? And how can that protection be expanded to include those most often left out?

Philip Westermann (he/him) is a designer and project manager who’s focused on workplace and has always strived for inclusive spaces for all users. Recently in his career he worked on life sciences projects and designed with inclusive principles in technical spaces that had been previously ignored. This inspired him to moderate this panel with inclusive design-oriented designers from diverse sectors with the goal of discovery of inclusive cross-pollination. Now, more than ever, feeling included and sense of belonging matters.

Anosha Zanjani (she/her) is an architectural designer and the Founder and Principal Behavioral Health Consultant at Mindful Insights Consulting. Her career began in behavioral health settings where she saw firsthand how poorly designed spaces can hinder recovery. That experience led her to shift into architecture, with a mission to design environments that truly support healing for both patients and staff. Anosha is an award-winning designer and has contributed to behavioral health projects across the U.S. and internationally.
