Join our Washington DC group as we proudly march in the 2025 World Pride Parade, embodying the theme "The Fabric of Freedom"! This is a fantastic opportunity to show your support for the queer community on a global stage, right here in our nation's capital. Experience the vibrant energy of World Pride, connect with fellow queer and ally professionals, and celebrate diversity in the design, construction, and real estate industry. We'll kick off the day with an exhilarating rooftop Pep Rally, where we'll eat, drink, dance, and network before joining the historic march through the streets of DC. Get ready to make memories, build community beyond the profession, and celebrate the diverse threads that weave together our collective freedom.

The Day’s Agenda
Note, all times are estimates as we await the official schedule from World Pride.
1:30pm-3:30pm ET :: Pre-Pride Party
Join us for a rooftop gather with food, drinks, music, and networking at the rooftop of 1310 U Street (enter via the lobby).3:30pm-6:00pm ET :: Parade Assembly & Marching (estimated end time)
Gather with the Build Out Alliance group at our designated staging area (15th Street, between Rhode Island and P Street) and march with us along the parade route.6:00pm-8:00pm ET :: Post-Parade Celebration (estimated; will immediately follow the march)
Stick with us after the Parade for an unofficial gathering at the World Pride Street Festival on Pennsylvania Ave (where the march route ends) to keep the day’s celebrations going.
What To Expect
Prideful Celebration :: Immerse yourself in the global celebration of queer pride and the "Fabric of Freedom."

Getting Ready To March
Resources on-site during the march will be limited, so be sure to dress smart and pack some essentials:
Logo-Free Attire :: you'll get a 2025 Pride shirt from Build Out Alliance. Sizes are available on a first-come basis. All clothing must be logo- and brand-free!
Sneakers :: for maximum comfort throughout a long day on your feet
Water :: to stay hydrated under the Washington DC sun
Snacks :: to keep your energy levels up throughout the day
Sunscreen :: to protect yourself from those rays
