A Radical Debut: Our First Capital Pride March in DC

  • 1310 U Street Apartments 1310 U Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 United States (map)

Join us for a major milestone celebration as we march in this year's Capital Pride March for the first time in our history! Set against the backdrop of our nation's capital, our participation heralds a vibrant affirmation of our commitment to the queer community and showcases our growth into Washington, DC, earlier this year. Kick off festivities with us at a lively rooftop mixer, follow by a spirited march through the heart of the capital. This more than just a march: it's an expression of our collective pride, resilience, and the radical spirit of inclusion. Whether you're a long-time supporter or new to Build Out Alliance, this promises to be an unforgettable part of your Pride celebrations!

All marchers must register prior to joining the event. Registering will also allow us to contact you with updates as we get closer to the event!

The Day's Agenda

  • 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM :: Social Happy Hour Mixer
    Join us at the 1310 U Street Apartments rooftop for pre-march festivities. Enjoy refreshments, meet fellow supporters, and customize your Build Out Alliance Pride t-shirt before we march.

  • 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM :: Pride March
    We step off together for a 1.5-mile, slow-paced walk while showcasing our pride and solidarity. The march will begin promptly, so we will gather at our designated staging area announced closer to the event.
